Grave Popper

This is my very first tryst into the workings with windshield wiper motors. I am starting out simple and just adding a grave popper to one of the tombstones. I did add a twist, i attached a door bell button to the bottom of the rigging so when the head is a full extended a light flashes on the head.

Yard nearly complete

Today brought the completion of pumpkin head, my homemade 10' scarecrow. He is pretty special as I made him for less than 3 bucks. I will let the picts do the talking.

A new beginning

Today is October 1st, everyone knows what that means for the Catalano Household. Halloween is now in full effect. Today the kids and I pulled most of the stuff out of storage and began to setup.

Almost complete

Did you miss me? Here's a barrel of laughs er I mean skeletons

This weekend I decided to make some new things. I decided on a barrel that will eventually move up and down with the use of a windshield wiper motor. For now you can see in the picts that it will look really cool. Sorry for the picture quality, very hard to take good night picts with out the tripod.

Got FOG?

Today I decided to build the fog chiller for the grave yard. The chiller will make the fog stay low to the ground to give it a creepy look, without it the super heated fog would rise up very quickly and blow away which would be a total waste. I also stole my wife's candle lantern to make into a Halloween prop. I will eventually paint it black and add some flicker lights, in the end it will hang from a post I have yet to make.
